About This Event
In 2 Chronicles 1:10–12
King Solomon prayed, “Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people,
for who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
God responded that since Solomon sought wisdom rather than wealth,
honor, or a long life, He would grant him wisdom, knowledge, and also
wealth and honor beyond any other king.
